Where can you find the 50 greatest cartoons chosen by a group of 1000 animators, directors and historians?
The book, The 50 Greatest Cartoons (Jerry Beck, Turner Press, 1994) is an interesting read based on a survey of 1000 animation professionals. What Jerry did, was to survey them, and ask them to pick their favourite 50 cartoons. The 50 cartoons in this list was the result of this survey.
In the back of the book, the author gave a list of where you can find these 50 cartoons, either on cable, or on video. I have compiled this list of where you can find these videos if you live in Australia. Cartoons that havent been available for a while will be listed in parentheses.
